I’m going to miss dressing up for school functions with you! #OptoBFF
8 more weeks!
I will be finished with my last externship in 8 weeks. How is that even possible?!
I found out last week that I have passed all 3 of my national boards. Graduation is almost 2 months away.. Where did the last 4 years go?
One week left!
Literally just 5 more days until I begin my week long orientation for Optometry school! I cannot believe just seven months ago I moved here and thought how slow time was going to pass.
I left my job at Visionworks because the commute and the time just wasn’t going to be worth it while trying to do well in Optometry school.
Though I met some wonderful new friends that I will hopefully keep in touch with!
I gotta say… I am starting to get a tad bit nervous. I am pretty sure it is just because it is a new school, new people, and new area… but I am sure once everyone gets to officially meet, it will all be all right.
Can’t believe I am finally here. <3
I GOT INTO OPTOMETRY SCHOOL! :D
WOW it has been a long time since I have posted anything….
BUT
I wanted to say that all the hard work has paid off and I will be entering Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University this Fall into the class of 2018! :)
As for now, I have moved into the apartment in Pennsylvania and I will hopefully have a job at Visionworks soon enough!
I know I should take this time to relax and do everything I can because once August comes, I don’t think I will be doing much of anything other than school. :P

It has been too long.
Things have been super busy since the last I was on… which was in May when I had my wisdom teeth out.
I finished two semesters of Physics over the summer. Passed them both with A’s. I re-applied for optometry school for the 2014 entering class.

I HAVE AN INTERVIEW. :)
It is in October.
I have started my FINAL semester at Radford. It has been kind of crazy, but it has also gotten better. Especially this week.
Nathan moved and started professional school, but I get to see him about every three weeks. Speaking ooooof, that is coming up next weekend! :D
I have three new roommates which of course takes getting used to, but it has been fun!
A few personal things in life have been extremely crazy and have definitely taken a toll on me….. but I really really am trying hard to see the bright side.
Which includes the mere fact that I whole-heatedly believe in the future things WILL be better considering the two situations. They have to be. I believe everything works itself out and gets better and I definitely believe the good in people. Times get tough…and things get weird, crazy, unbearable, sad, and any other sad description word you can think of, but happiness and reconciliation WILL prevail.
I just have to keep telling myself that.
